Universal edge router

590,00  - 685,00  without VAT.

The Universal edge router offers as the only edge router known to us in a table the Combination of longitudinal edge and corner processing.

For longitudinal edge processing, it has a Large support platewhich ensures very good stability when pushing forwards. The milling cutter infeed is located centrally under the drive in the clamping adapter and can be adjusted very easily. sensitive can be adjusted by turning the drive.

Corner machining is facilitated by a horizontal fence with chip guard and a height-adjustable disc arranged around the milling cutter. Safe and blur-free to be carried out.

Description

The 90° universal device for corner and longitudinal edge processing with many new features

A number of innovations have been incorporated for safety and productivity:

  • Hessler stop for safe guidance when corner machining
  • Vario support for tool-free changeover from edge banding plate to disc support
  • Sensitive milling cutter infeed plus backlash-free clamping of the drive unit
  • Adjusting the switch position

System features

Field of application

The MZ 100 90F 90° universal machine can be used to remove both end and long edge protrusions. In the case of rounded longitudinal edges, the machine also rounds the remaining corners.

The reversible Heßler attack ensures a wobble-free guide when rounding corners and has chip and grip protection. With the Vario support, the support geometry is optimally adapted to the respective work support.

Heßler attack

The Hessler fence is located in the handle-like holder during longitudinal edge processing (see next picture below). This means it is always to hand when changing over to corner processing. The large handle in conjunction with the large workpiece support ensures secure guidance.
Longitudinal edge processing can be carried out with overhang of the edge. The edge does not have to be milled flush beforehand.

For corner machining, the Hessler fence is pulled vertically upwards out of the handle and reinserted from the support side. The chip guard and guard for gripping is brought up to the workpiece support. It extends over the milling cutter and into the suction adapter. The corner former can now be rotated around the axis of the Heßler stop.

The drive unit is held securely in a horizontal position by the sliding pressure of the Hessler stop on the top of the workpiece. When the Heßler stop slides on the top of the workpiece, the milling cutter's thrust bearing is pressed against the workpiece and the excess edge is removed cleanly.

Vario support

The Vario support is another unique selling point.
The Vario support combines in one machine what previously required two machines or one machine with two attachments: a workpiece support with a V-shaped boundary to accommodate an edge overhang during longitudinal edge milling and a closed disc for corner processing. With the Vario support, the milling cutter can no longer be pressed into the workpiece during corner milling.

The Vario support consists of the white, collar-like support element, the adjustment collar, around the milling cutter. The adjustable collar can be adjusted to the level of the large support plate in the direction of the tool axis. This increases the workpiece support surface. It can also be moved back again.
It is operated via two sliding elements on the side of the handle.

Sensitive milling cutter infeed

The milling cutter is fed in the axial direction by turning the vertical drive unit. Nevertheless, the drive unit is fixed absolutely free of play via the orange clamping lever. It is not possible to touch the milling cutter with your fingers on the drive side in any operating state. This means safety.

Adjusting the switch position

The position of the on/off switch can be changed by 4×90° for each infeed position, making it easy to switch on/off. If the drive unit is removed with the milling cutter, the infeed position is maintained very precisely.

Thrust bearing brake

The integrated brake brakes the thrust bearing before it comes into contact with the workpiece. No run-on marks or brake marks are formed. The brake is designed so that the thrust bearing can roll without leaving any marks after contact with the workpiece.

Solid construction

Apart from the drive unit, the corner former is manufactured without any cast metal parts. Solid materials are used, which are machined by turning, milling or other cutting processes. Despite this, the weight is only around 2.5 kg.
