The light notcher MZ 02 90F A L has been designed for light machining of CLT cross laminated timber.
Roundings at inside corners are milled out, which remain after milling a cutout.

Description
The rounding in an inside corner can be removed down to a floor.
When milling a cut-out in cross laminated timber, the cut-out part remains in the workpiece. To remove it, the workpiece must be taken out of the machine. This makes subsequent repositioning necessary. This is time-consuming and expensive.
The MZ 02 90F A L lightweight notcher eliminates the need for repositioning with milling precision. While the curves in the inner corners are being removed from the first workpiece, a second workpiece can already be machined on the milling machine.
The on-site customer is relieved of machining, which as a general trend is increasingly in demand.

for cross laminated timber CLT for milling out inner corners
We would like to introduce a new hand machine for processing cross laminated timber.
The new hand machine can be used to remove the curves in the inner corners of cutouts that remain after milling. The machine is called notcher L in short form.
Compared to the previous model, the notcher L has the following changes:
Weight greatly reduced, from over 13 kg to just under 4 kg!
Removing the rounding of an inside corner down to a bottom or rebate in the workpiece
Immersion in cut-outs from approx. 250 mm x 250 mm, with fixed cable also approx. 200 mm x 200 mm, through-immersion from approx. 400mm x 400mm
The machine is much easier to handle and is also the first hand-held machine we know of that can mill out inside corners flush with the floor.
In addition, due to the modified design with fewer components and the use of plastic 3D printed parts, the price has also been significantly reduced.
In the standard version, curves up to R = 20 mm can be milled. On request, R = 25 mm is also conceivable with a design modification. Depending on the milling tap used, a residue remains in the inner corner, which forms a plane with a width of about 1.5 mm.
We offer you a mobile, hand-guided machine for removing the inside corner roundings on glulam. The material is spruce and/or pine.
