Application area

The KF 400 edge milling machines are particularly light and easy to handle. Typical application is the chamfering or rounding of plastic edge bands that have already been milled flush or on panels. Their performance is lower than that of a large edge milling machine. The performance limit is reached for a 2mm thick ABS plastic edge when it is rounded with 2mm overhang with a new R2 cutter.

Technical requirements

Milling cutters with shank 6 mm can be accommodated.

For operation, it is necessary to regularly supply compressed air device oil. This can be done for sporadic use by directly dripping into the
compressed air connection plug or for continuous use by a maintenance unit set to 1 drop of oil per minute.

Scope of delivery

The KF 400 TOP is supplied with a supply air and exhaust air hose. The exhaust hose surrounds the compressed air supply hose as a flexible sheath and directs the air away from the work area.

An additional effect of the exhaust hose is noise reduction. The KF 400 TOP is quieter than an electric router or electric edger.
