Hand-guided machines
The edge router, router and corner moulding machine are fed by the operator using manual guidance. This is why they are referred to as hand-guided machines. In woodworking and metalworking, the carpenter, joiner or metalworker has excellent feedback from the cutting process due to the manual feed. The feed rate of the power tools or pneumatic tools directly influences the chip formation and the milling result. Manual guidance is facilitated by speed adjustment or speed control.
